Astrophotography Setup
Meade 4.5 Refractor plus Canon A85

It took a while to position the camera properly. I realized that not being able to mount my larger cameras was actually a blessing. Once setup, ideally you want to leave the camera put. I decided that this compact camera would become a semi permanent part of my telescope. Something I'd have been reluctant to do with my larger, more expensive cameras.

After some experimentation the best results seemed to be achieved with the camera lens almost touching the eye piece. I then used the camera's zoom until any vignetting (tunnel vision) was cropped out.
