I wanted to separate my home theater area from my office but didn't want to build a wall. I also wanted to add additional seating for entertaining & watching movies. A bar was the answer.

Running a bar between the support column & the wall would help divide the two spaces. The column also provides a good solid anchor for the end of the bar. There was just enough space between my computer desk & the bar for a row of bar stools. This setup would add three more much needed seats for my home theater as well as offer a place to socialize.
